BARLEYmax® in Japan

BARLEYmax® foods will now be available in Japan. For nearly two years Teijin Corporation has been working with The Healthy Grain company to design a BARLEYmax® granola bar and a biscuit bar for the exacting Japanese market.

 

This month Teijin will begin test marketing of nutritious, ready-to-eat BARLEYmax® foods.

The marketing of the products in Japan will initially focus on the prebiotic components in BARLEYmax®, including resistant starch and the positive effect on digestive health, and the effect of beta glucan on cholesterol lowering.
