Chief Executive Officer

After attending Marcus Oldham Farm Agricultural College, Robert Burbury spent the first fifteen years of his career as the principal of a large mixed farming enterprise in Tasmania’s northern midlands. Since moving to Victoria in 1991, he has been involved in consulting to large agribusinesses, managing property developments, and has spent ten years in senior executive corporate agribusiness roles at Austrade, Pivot Ltd., O2e and Warakirri Dairies.

In addition to being the CEO of The Healthy Grain P/L, he is also Managing Director of Ormley Pty Ltd and until recently was an Independent Non-Executive Director of Harris Dairies Ltd. (Macquarie Agricultural Funds Management) and Riordan Grain Services.

Paul has wide experience in the biomedical and food businesses having worked for pharmaceutical and biotech companies, and for CSIRO. He spent several years managing CSIRO’s technology commercialisation in Japan. Currently he is seconded from CSIRO to work for The Healthy Grain P/L

Alfred Leung


Finance Director

Alfred is a finance, analytics and business professional with over 12 years’ experience in banking and financial services sector. He has delivered business insights, initiated strategic plans, and managed performance in fast paced environments. Before joining The Healthy Grain, Alfred worked with ANZ Banking Group, GMAC, BMW Financial Services, and Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Alfred is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries and Administrators, and the Governance Institute of Australia. He is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Management.


Lauren Ross-Gilder

Marketing Manager

Lauren is a marketing professional with over five years’ experience. Working with iconic brands across a wide range of industries, Lauren takes a hands-on approach to all facets of marketing and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty!

In joining The Healthy Grain, Lauren sees the rare opportunity to build a brand from the ground up, that can truly make a difference to the health of people across the globe. With experience across digital, events, PR, social and strategy, Lauren is excited to be able to facilitate the marketing of The Healthy Grain to drive growth domestically and internationally.

Tim Bignell

Global Business Development Manager

After spending several years working as a chef in Europe, Tim moved into product development, working with iconic brands and private label products for Foodservice and Retail.

Since moving to Australia, Tim has worked extensively in global export markets in commercial roles managing large portfolios of both ingredients and finished products.

Tim brings a unique skill set and wide range of experience to The Healthy Grain.

Ciaron McKinley

Ciaron’s professional experience has been primarily in agricultural markets, including agricultural trading, market analysis, business strategy and development and international sales and marketing of both physical and financial products across Australia and Asia.
